When looking for a location to purchase a house, its good to look around the neighbourhood to understand it better before you make the life-changing decision. Neighbourhoods differ from one to another it's therefore important to know if its family friendly or not. Get to meet some of the neighbours and know several things that are around the area like health, education centre, sports and many other important things that you may need. You do not want to live in a neighbourhood that is full of illegal activities and a bad influence on the kids.
2.      Location
Location is very vital when it comes to buying a house. The location will determine the development of the area and other important activities. You may find a cheap house in a poor location that you may end up selling the house and relocating making it more hectic and financial wastage. You should consider the distance between your work and where you stay, this way you will be able to go and come back easily.

4.      Infrastructure
When buying a house, accessibility to important facilities is very crucial to you and your family. Find out if you are able to access such important amenities though simple so long as it is there. Such important infrastructure is water supply. Since water is very crucial to the human environment and use, there should be easy access to sufficient water supply in the area. Another question you should ask yourself is whether you are able to access road and other important transportation in the area and many other including street lighting and internet connectivity.
5.      Education centre
If you have kids or you are planning on having one, It's important to consider schools and colleges around the area before you make the big decision. Since many parents want their kids to attend good schools and colleges, it’s important for them to have a house near schools for easy movements of them to and fro. In case you may move in the future due to business or jobs, you can rest assured your house will be easily rented/resale due to the available amenities in the area.
